AS THE FIRST SCHOOL BELL RINGS, LET ITS SOUND ECHO THROUGHOUT ARMENIA.
Dear First Graders, Dear Teachers, Dear Parents, Today, as the first school bell rings, let its sound echo throughout Armenia. On this September 1st, we come together as one family to celebrate Knowledge Day. This day is not simply another date on the calendar. It marks the beginning of a new journey — a path filled with hopes, aspirations, and new opportunities. The Mesrop Mashtots Educational Complex opens its welcoming embrace to our first graders. Dear children, may your entrance into school be blessed! With bright minds and open hearts, accept the Mashtotsian prayer: let us learn our mother tongue and sing the song of peaceful mornings. This year brings with it new challenges and new opportunities in education. The development of technologies, the introduction of innovative programs, and the care for children’s mental well-being remind us that school must be not only a place of knowledge, but also a place of trust, support, and solidarity. Our founding principal, Margarita Gurgenovna Harutyunyan, left us with an unshakable principle: “What matters is the flight itself, not the destination.” We remain faithful to this belief and promise to provide your children with a peaceful sky for the highest of flights. Dear children, here you will find lifelong friends, and your teachers will walk beside you as guides and supporters. Dear teachers, I thank you for your boundless patience, your love, and your dedication. You are the ones who make the future brighter. Dear parents, we know that today your hearts are filled with both joy and emotion. Thank you for trusting us with your most precious treasure — your children. Let the 2025–2026 academic year be a year of achievement, good health, and creativity. Together, we will overcome all challenges and fulfill even the boldest of dreams. Happy Knowledge Day to all, and let us set forth towards new heights! Director of Mesrop Mashtots Educational Complex L. Kamalyan
